Before you upgrade

What the plan actually changes.

The rendering, the alt text and the QA review are identical on every tier. The plan sets one number: how many renders you get in a calendar month.

  • What happens when I hit the monthly limit?

    The API returns HTTP 429 with a message naming the limit you reached. Nothing is charged automatically, so you are never billed for an overage you did not choose. The count resets at the start of the next calendar month, UTC.

  • Why is the free tier sometimes 100 renders?

    A new workspace gets 100 renders a month until the owner confirms their email address. Confirming it raises the limit to 1,000 immediately — same features, no card.

  • Can I cancel?

    Yes. Manage billing opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel; the subscription then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and drops back to the free tier.

  • Does a bigger plan render better charts?

    No. Deterministic SVG, durable PNG and SVG URLs, alt text and the full QA review ship on the free tier as well. There is no premium chart type and no watermark.
